Panajachel — This Saturday promises to be a fun-filled time for kids, adults and young adults! PanaPalooza, a benefit for Healthy Pets kicks off at 4 p.m. at Jack’s Cafe on Calle Los Arboles, Panajachel with a movie for kids (and adults who like great animation). Marilena de Perez, Healthy Pets humane ed coordinator will give a short presentation on domestic animal overpopulation during the intermission. Hiper Paiz, a super store in Guatemala City and part of the Wal-Mart family, has agreed to supply juice and snacks for sale during this portion of the event.
A catered buffet by Mathilda follows the movie with performances by two local jazz musicians, Chris Jarnach and Dave Sherman. At approximately 8:30 p.m. the doors will open for a cover-free evening of dancing with Musica Santander, Monroe Porch All-Stars and Method to the Madnez providing the tunes.

I am sad to say that NONE of the pictures turned out from this event. Very disappointing to all of us. We got less of a turn out than expected, but all in all, still a very fun night and loads of publicity.
